What are the alternatives to color harmony? Is it possible to find beauty in color combinations that do not follow the established rules of color theory? Are we automatically being guided toward color palettes that fit the classical definition of being harmonious? This research project explored how chaos and noise could inform color pairing and how they would correlate to those perceived as harmonious. We looked for unfamiliar color combinations that couldn't have been predicted as beautiful by color theory and tried to find what lies between harmony and dissonance.
