Shroooms is a research project that explores the fusion of artificial intelligence and procedural tools in creative processes, particularly in image creation and sound design. By utilizing artificial growth algorithms, the project generates organic, evolving visuals that mimic natural forms. This process introduces unpredictability, allowing for new digital aesthetics to emerge. On the sound side, AI is used to co-create music by inputting parameters into a modern sequencer, with the results shaped by both AI and vintage machines. The blend of cutting-edge and older technology creates a unique fusion of organic and synthetic elements.

Shroooms demonstrates how AI and procedural tools can reshape and expand creative language. Rather than being mere tools, these systems become collaborators, generating surprising and intricate outputs that push the boundaries of traditional creativity. The combination of AI-driven processes and human intuition results in new forms of expression, where digital aesthetics are shaped by a balance between control and randomness, blending machine logic with artistic intent.
